Sewing Kits

Our wool felt kits are born out of the penny rug traditions of the early 1800s.

Everything you need to start is right in the package, including precision cut wool felt, stuffing, ribbon, floss, a needle, pair of scissors (stork or 1800's style), beeswax, a needle, and the instructions.

The sewing kit is constructed of two layers of wool felt and folds up into a trifold book. On the inside are two pockets for storing scissors, floss, and beeswax. There are also two pages for needles, as well as a small pincushion on the front cover incorporated with the heart appliqué. Your own stitch work of vines and flowers will showcase a very unique sewing kit to keep or gift to someone special.

Overall closed measurements are 51⁄2″W × 71⁄2″H × 11⁄2″T and open it is 151⁄2″W. You can show off your special needlework in the open spaces around the multi-layer appliqué.
