Mechanisms
Our wooden Mechanism Kits are modeled after mechanisms of the past. They are designed to teach how things work and educate you on some of the math, science and history behind these mechanisms. They follow the old adage – “Fun with a purpose.”
All of our Mechanism Kits are:
- Precision engineered and laser cut to ensure precise fitting joints
- Designed, built and packaged in the USA
- Made from European Birch, 3-layer hardwood, from ecologically managed forests
- Packaged in American-Made packaging materials
No plastic materials are used in these products or their packaging.
To assemble our kits you will need with some glue, sandpaper and a few common hand tools such as a screwdriver, small hammer or mallet, and clamps. They can also be painted or stained to your liking. See the tool section of our catalog.
